This weekend, and this weekend only, the entire Criterion Collection on Hulu will be available for free.
Even if you're not a subscriber to Hulu Plus, you'll be able to take your pick from over 800 titles ranging from Charlie Chaplin's City Lights (1931), Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (1958), John Ford's classic Western Stagecoach (1939), David Lynch's Eraserhead (1977) and even Orson Welles' bizarre documentary F for Fake (1973).
Of course, the viewing experience isn't entirely for free -- you'll have to put up with a few ads here and there. But then again that's probably the point, since being a Hulu Plus subscriber means not having to put up with commercials interrupting the flow.
So whether you're a fan of French New Wave, Akira Kurosawa, or cult classics like The Blob (1958), there are plenty of great movies to choose from this weekend on Hulu. Enjoy.
