I Should Have Turned Right at Albuquerque

Whoever is programming Albuquerque's outdoor film festival has terrific taste in classic movies - but maybe I'm just saying that because they've picked a bunch of my favorites for the shows, which run from July 20 to August 24.

They kick it off with Casablanca, and keep it going with Some Like It Hot, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Day the Earth Stood Still - every one of them gets a hearty recommendation from me.

Also, the city will always have a place in my heart. I've won a lot of bar bets by being able to spell it backwards. E-U-Q-R-E-U-Q-U-B-L-A!
