British Director to Take Paternity Test - Orson Welles' Son?

From Laurie Boeder, About.com GuideFebruary 1, 2010

After years of speculation brought about by his striking resemblance to famed American auteur Orson Welles, British director Michael Lindsay-Hogg will take a DNA test.

His mother, actress Geraldine Fitzgerald, was linked to Welles when the director was married to his first wife. The families were close, and Welles' eldest daughter Chris played with Lindsay-Hogg as a child on the California beaches. The paternity issue was raised again in Chris Welles' autobiography, In the Shadow of My Father.

Welles had four daughters from three marriages and no sons - unless the DNA test proves otherwise.
