Mrs. Robinson's Leg in Lego
These just made me laugh.
Classic scenes in classic movies, apparently all drawn from Flickr, depicted with plastic fidelity in everybody's favorite Danish toy, Legos. I especially love the black-and-white scene from Casablanca, not to mention Slim Picken's bomb ride from Dr. Strangelove.
What is it about Legos?
One of my favorite Lego sites ever is The Brick Testament. It's hyper-accurate Bible tales illustrated in Lego with devilish imagination. Fascinating.
And now, in their annual conspicuous consumption Chrsitmas catalog, Neiman Marcus offers a couples portrait in Lego by an acclaimed(?) artist. For a mere $60k. Words fail me.
