Kate the Gourd

I'm crazy for Halloween, and I usually go for the traditional scary pumpkin themes - witches, ghosts, bats, black cats, Dick Cheney.

But this might be the way to go for the classic movie buff and pumpkin enthusiast - Katharine Hepburn. Very elegant.

Saw it on the web site of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Center, a venue for the arts and tribute to the actress in her old hometown of Saybrook, Connecticut. Worth a look for fans of Kate the Great!
