If I could collect any art, it would be poster art, and classic movie posters would be high on my list.

From the records set at a recent Christie's sale in London, it looks like my walls will stay bare for now.

I particularly covet this German-language poster for Breakfast at Tiffany's. And I love this great poster of Robby the Robot in Forbidden Planet (the blonde doesn't actually appear in the movie, but still.). Tragically, I don't have $13k or so to spend on vintage posters at the moment. Maybe one day...
